What is two-factor authentication on Raizers and how does it work?
What is two-factor authentication?
It is a system that adds an extra layer of security to your password, via a code sent by text message or generated by an authentication app.
When will I need to authenticate myself?
- When you log in to the platform (every six months),
- When performing sensitive actions:
- subscribing to an opportunity
- changing your telephone number,
- adding or modifying your bank details,
- or any other operation deemed sensitive.
How will I receive the validation code?
The code is sent by Mangopay, our payment service provider, usually by SMS. Other methods may be offered (authentication application).
I haven't received the code. What should I do?
- Check that your phone is switched on and connected to the network.
- Check that your number is up to date in your personal information.
- If the problem persists, contact our support team.
Will this change my login details?
No. Your login details will remain unchanged. Two-factor authentication simply adds an extra validation step.
Why is this measure being implemented?
The revised European Payment Services Directive (PSD2) requires financial institutions and payment providers to strengthen account security. It aims to limit fraud and ensure better protection of your data. Our partner Mangopay has therefore asked us to strengthen security measures on the Raizers platform.
How can I contact support if I have any difficulties?
You can write to us at info@raizers.com or contact us via chat or telephone.
