I am a French tax resident. What is my tax situation?

If you are a natural person and you are domiciled in France for tax purposes, you are in principle subject to a 31,4% tax (flat-rate tax or "PFU") on bond income (interest received or "bond coupons") and loans (interests received).

In fact, this rate is broken down as follows :

12.8% income tax ("IR");
And 18.6% social security contributions ("CSG" / "CRDS").

This rate increased from 30% to 31.4% on 1 January 2026. All interest payments made on or after this date will be subject to this 31.4% rate.

Please note that you can apply for a waiver of IR if you meet certain conditions*. To do so, please sign the income tax exemption document available in your personal space. See the article: How do I fill in my exemption from deduction?

For bond issues or loans carried out on the platform, Raizers declares and pays the PFU on behalf of investors. No action is required by French tax residents, income is declared directly to the tax department and the declarations are pre-filled.

_*In order to benefit from the tax exemption, the reference tax income of your household, as shown on your tax notice drawn up in respect of the income of the penultimate year preceding the payment of the bond or loan income, must be less than €25,000 (for single, divorced or widowed taxpayers) or €50,000 (for taxpayers subject to joint taxation). _ __

What is the single tax form?

The single tax form or single tax form is a document drawn up annually by all institutions that pay out income from movable capital. It is a tax return summarising all income from movable capital. It must be sent to the tax authorities each year. It is used to fill in the income tax return. This is the CERFA form number 2561.

The single tax form is issued by the financial institution holding the proceeds. In case of multiple accounts held in several institutions, the investor receives 1 single tax form per institution.

All the information presented on the single tax form is **sent by the institution directly to the tax authorities.

Single tax forms are completed and sent by the paying institution each year, not later than 15 February of the year following that in which the income from transferable securities is paid. Only single tax forms containing data must be sent to the tax authorities.

What is a personal guarantee?

It is quite common for a company to require the director to provide a personal guarantee in order to secure a loan. This commits the director’s personal assets and obliges them to personally repay any outstanding debts should the company fail to do so. This personal guarantee must be accompanied by a handwritten statement confirming that the director fully understands the scope of the commitments made and the amount involved. In the event of death, the guarantee passes to the heirs as part of the estate, provided it is accepted.

How do I credit my account?

Before you can invest in any of our operations, you must fund your Raizers account. To do this, you must first validate your profile.

From your personal space, in the "My Investments" section, click on the "Credit" button

How to transfer funds

You can choose to credit your account by bank transfer or by bank card.

** By transfer in €**: you will find on the "Credit" page an IBAN and a BIC that you can enter in the interface of your bank and make a transfer of the amount of your choice.
By transfer in CHF: enter the amount you wish to credit. You will then find an IBAN, a BIC and a reference that you can enter in your bank's interface and make a transfer of the amount of your choice.
By bank card: you can pay up to €2,000 into your account by bank card. Please note that only payments in € are possible by bank card. You will be charged 0,8% of the credited amount for credit by bank card. The use of bank transfer remains free of charge.

If you are a natural or legal person and you are not fiscally domiciled in France, you are not subject to any taxation in France.

The funds do not appear on my account

I made a transfer to fund my account but the credited funds do not appear on my Raizers account: when funds are credited by bank transfer, a classic interbank delay applies, so the account is not credited immediately.

I can't credit my account

You want to fund your account but you cannot. Please check that your profile is validated or that your bank is not blocking the transaction.
