What is two-factor authentication on Raizers and how does it work ?
What is two-factor authentication?
It is a system that adds an extra layer of security to your password, via a code sent by text message or generated by an authentication app.
When will I need to authenticate myself?
- When you log in to the platform (every 6 months),
- When carrying out sensitive actions:
- subscribing to an opportunity,
- changing your phone number,
- adding or amending your bank details,
- or any other operation deemed sensitive.
You will be asked to set a PIN. Make sure you make a note of it, as you will be asked for it every time you authenticate.
How will I receive the verification code?
The code is sent by Mangopay, our payment service provider, usually via text message. Other methods may be available (authentication app).
I haven’t received the code – what should I do?
- Check that your phone has a signal,
- Check that your number is up to date in your personal details,
- If the problem persists, please contact our support team.
Will this change my login details?
No. Your login details remain the same. Two-factor authentication simply adds an extra verification step.
Why has this measure been introduced?
The revised European Payment Services Directive (PSD2) requires financial institutions and payment service providers to strengthen account security. It aims to reduce fraud and ensure better protection of your data. Our partner Mangopay has therefore asked us to strengthen security measures on the Raizers platform.
How can I contact support if I encounter any difficulties?
You can email us at info@raizers.com or contact us via live chat or by telephone.
