Why have my company's supporting documents been rejected ?

The most common reasons

The rejection of supporting documents for a legal entity is most often due to one of the following three reasons:

• A KBIS extract dated more than 3 months ago
• Articles of Association that are unsigned and/or out of date
• An Beneficial Ownership Declaration that is incomplete or incorrect

What is a Beneficial Owner?

A Beneficial Owner is a natural person who holds, directly or indirectly, more than 25 per cent of a company’s shares or voting rights. Every company must declare all its Beneficial Owners, specifying the exact nature of their holdings.

Before submitting your documents, please check the following points

The KBIS is recent (less than 3 months old)
The articles of association are dated and signed by the company’s legal representative
The declaration of beneficial owners is complete, taking full account of the method of ownership (sole shareholder, multiple shareholders, separation of usufruct and bare ownership, indirect ownership via another company, etc.)
